    Residents typically stay for 6-18 months, but the duration varies based on individual needs.
  3. Do I need to be in a 12-step program to live at Sanctuary House?
    While participation in a recovery program is highly encouraged, we welcome individuals from various recovery pathways. Residents are required to continue their program and consistently attend meetings.
  4. Are meals provided?
    Sanctuary House homes are self-catered, meaning you are responsible for your own meals and groceries. Our homes are equipped with the kitchen necessities to prepare meals for yourself.
  5. What should I bring to Sanctuary House?
    Our homes are furnished and all our residents are assigned a bed with fresh linens. You will be responsible for your own clothing, towels, toiletries and food.
  6. Do you offer scholarships for those who cannot afford the initial cost of transitioning from rehab to sober living?
    We do our best to help our residents get on and stay on the sober path. While we do not directly offer scholarships, you can apply at the link below to request a scholarship from participating NPOs.
